GUM COPAL OR IN SOME COUNTRIES CALLED AS MANILA GUM OR CHUNDRUS IS REALLY A NATURAL GUM COLLECTED FROM THE TREES IN THE FOREST FROM HARD TREES ALIKE MERANTI AND OTHER AGATIS SPECIES TREES.

Smell of this Gum is very pleasant alike Turpentine smell and really natural. Used as a main raw material in wood furniture industry alike as furnishing, polishing, varnishing and as a raw material in thinner industry.

This Gum called as Manila Gum because long time ago this material loaded mainly from Manila Port as the nearest port from Sulawesi island to out side of the country than trough Jakarta or Surabaya port in Indonesia. The origin of Gum Copal in this time mainly from Ambon and other island and place in Sulawesi area of east Indonesia.

In Java, they have Gum Copal too but because of the insolubility already very low, Gum Copal Ambon and Sulawesi origin is more populair in the world.

Procedures for Gum Copal business is as follows :

- Buyer and Seller signed contract after agreed price..etc

- Seller bring the goods with a permit from Indonesian Forest Department after submit contract and TT receipt to jakarta for selecting, sortier, more drying before bagging for stuffing into container

- Normally in 1 container loaded 60% PWS clean quality, 30% WS not clean and dark in color and other quality as infact from Ambon we delivered 17 tons or more and after breaking (usually blocking in container) again before drying again to avoid blocking or slab at destination port the qtty will be 15-16 tons.

we packed this material in 50 kg per gunny bag to avoid slab again but sometime buyer need to packed in 50 kg/double PP bags and 15 tons in each 1 x 20'ft container
